The Bajaj Freedom 125 is the world’s first CNG motorcycle. The Bajaj Freedom has an unconventional design with a long seat and a compact fuel tank. The Bajaj Freedom’s USP is its capability to run on Compressed Natural Gas and petrol as well. The manufacturer claims a 102 km/kg range with CNG and 65 Kmpl with petrol which is quite impressive. The Freedom 125 has gone through rigorous testing before the launch to ensure safety from concerns related to tank blasts. The commuter gets features such as LED headlights and DRLs, an LCD digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, disc brakes (higher trims) and a call-receiving button as well.

If you are looking for a fuel-efficient motorcycle and you are not shy of opting for a new technology, the Bajaj Freedom is worth your consideration. It comes with a combined range of 330 km which is commendable considering the capacity of the CNG and petrol tank. It comes with decent features and an affordable price tag.
- Bajaj Freedom 125 is the world’s first motorcycle to come with a CNG+petrol engine. It gets a 125cc, air-cooled engine, producing 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
- The motorcycle has a CNG capacity of 2 Kg and a petrol tank of 2 litres. The combined range with both fuel tanks. The individual claimed range on CNG is 202 km and on petrol mode is 130 km.

- The Bajaj Freedom 125 boasts a quirky design language which makes it look distinctive on the road. It gets a hexagonal shape headlamp assembly, front fork protectors, a long seat, a small fuel tank, a dual-tone body color, and a sleek LED tail lamp at the rear. The rear of the motorcycle is almost exposed which adds to the distinctiveness of the motorcycle.
- On the features front, the new Freedom 125 comes with decent features that a commuter motorcycle needs. It comes equipped with LED headlamps, a digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake with CBS, CNG to petrol switchover button among other features.

The Freedom 125 is built on a tubular trellis frame. It rides on a 17-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. It gets telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock absorber. Braking duties are handled by a 240mm front disc and rear drum brakes.

The motorcycle gets one of the longest seats in the segment with a length of 785 mm. The seat height of the motorcycle is 825mm. The seat can easily accommodate two adults and offers a decent space for both rider and pillion.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 2KG CNG cylinder fitted under the seat and packed neatly to maintain the ergonomics of the motorcycle. The brand claims that the motorcycle has gone through 11 different safety tests to ensure the safety of the CNG tank.
