Last Updated On 11th Feb' 25: The Suzuki Gixxer 150 is an entry-level naked sports motorcycle that recently received updates, including new color options, and its 155cc engine was made compliant with OBD-2B to meet emissions regulations. It now starts at Rs 1.37 lakh and looks more athletic. Additionally, its SF version was also updated.
In 2023, Suzuki revealed the latest lineup of the Gixxer series, highlighting an OBD2 compliant engine and introducing new color options. Additionally, Suzuki now includes the Suzuki Ride Connect as a standard feature on the new Gixxer 150, which remains unchanged until now.

Suzuki Gixxer 150 Detailed Review
Suzuki Gixxer 150 is one of the sharper looking two-wheeler in the Indian market. A European design approach with trapezoidal body proportions adds to the agile character of this bike. The razor sharp arrow shaped tank resembles the original Gixxer and the LED headlight set-up brings an aggressive approach to the design of the motorcycle. The dual-exhaust with chrome tip, digital instrument cluster, sporty split seat are other highlights of the Suzuki Gixxer 150. This bike is available in three colour options –
Metallic Triton Blue
Pearl Mira Red
Glass Sparkle Black
Summary
Overall, the design approach is quite modern and it surely turn heads because of its aggressive approach.

Suzuki Gixxer 150 gets a digital instrument cluster, electric start, clock, kill-switch, digital fuel-gauge, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, LED headlight, LED taillight, split seat, shift light, pass light, pillion grabrail and more. Suzuki also provides a DC socket to charge your phones on the go, however, that can be availed through optional accessory.
Summary
The Gixxer 150 packs in decent equipment but could have done better for today’s time.
Suzuki Gixxer 150 gets a 155cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 13.4 bhp of power at 8,000 RPM with a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 6,000 RPM. It gets mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the gearshift pattern stick to 1 down and 4 up. It is one of the powerful bikes in the segment and a sixth gear would be wonderful to make highway experience even better.
Summary
While the engine is quite capable, the lack of sixth gear and the low top-speed can be a dealbreaker for some buyers.

At the front, telescopic fork does the duty while at the rear, it gets swing arm for better comfort. The braking is handled by disc brake on both tyres and the front disc measures 266 mm and the rear is measured at 240 mm. It gets single-channel ABS. The bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels and the dimension sticks to 100/80 R17 for the front tyre and 140/60 R17 for the rear tyre.

The suspension is balanced out for both tarmac as well as non-tarmac roads.

Suzuki appears to be preparing a long-overdue overhaul of its Gixxer portfolio, with reports suggesting that an all-new generation of Gixxer 150 and Gixxer 250 motorcycles is currently under development. Expected to arrive towards the end of 2026 or spill into early 2027, this update could mark a crucial reset for Suzuki's sporty commuter line-up, which has struggled to stay competitive amid a flood of fresher, better-equipped rivals.
Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. has updated its Gixxer Series for 2025 with new colour options and made the engines compliant with OBD-2B to meet government emissions regulations. This series includes the Gixxer 250, 250 SF, and 150cc bikes.
Suzuki has rolled out attractive offers for its popular motorcycle, the Gixxer. Customers can avail of up to Rs 6,000 cashback and an extended warranty of up to 10 years. Additionally, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000 is available as well.
As the latest update is only associated with adding new colours; the 155cc variants will now be offered in 3 options. These include - Metallic Sonic Silver with Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue, & Glass Sparkle Black.
Gixxer 150 was earlier available only in the Glass Sparkle Black colour shade. Now, Suzuki has introduced two new colour variants - Pearl Mira Red and Metallic Triton Blue. This new Metallic Triton Blue colour variant also gets Suzuki's racing graphics and a MotoGP inspired livery.
