AUDI A4 is an entry-level luxury segment sedan from Audi’s portfolio. In its recent update, it got a fresh appeal to the design, some updates in the interior, and the level of sophistication has increased. It comes in only petrol engine option and diesel engine no more exist. It has decent features which are inspired by elder siblings in the lineup like A6 and A8L. It mainly rivals the Mercedes Benz A-class limousine and the BMW 2-Series.

Last Updated On 9th Sept'25: The Audi A6, currently in its 5th generation, hasn’t received any updates in a long time. However, Audi has globally revealed its 6th generation, which will launch in 2026 internationally, but there are no reports on the India launch.

Audi India has launched the A4 Signature Edition at Rs 57.11 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited edition brings subtle cosmetic upgrades like Audi ring LED entry lamps, redone alloy wheels with dynamic hub caps, and a new aerodynamic spoiler. Inside, it gets wood oak grey inlays, a premium fragrance dispenser, and stainless-steel pedals. Mechanically, it remains unchanged with the same 2.0L. The Signature Edition is available in five colour options and limited numbers only.

The Gypsy’s stubby selector rod seems to have been carried over, and you can switch manually between ‘2WD-high’, ‘4WD-high’ and ‘4WD-low’. What you don’t get is a set of mechanically locking differentials. Suzuki instead uses an electronic traction control system that automatically brakes slipping wheels allowing torque to be redistributed to other wheels.
