Audi A6

The A6 is now one of the oldest cars in its segment, with its closest rivals receiving generational updates earlier this year. Audi’s new naming strategy sees the use of even numbers for EVs and odd numbers for combustion cars. With the current A6 transitioning into the A6 e-tron electric sedan globally, its future in India remains uncertain. This could potentially see the return of the A7 badge in India. However, Audi India is yet to confirm anything.

Expert Verdict on A6

4.0

Expert Rating

The Audi A6 remains one of the most refined executive sedans in the luxury segment, blending understated design with advanced technology and strong everyday usability. Positioned above the A4 in Audi’s lineup, it delivers a more sophisticated ownership experience with greater comfort, improved cabin space and stronger road presence. Its turbocharged petrol engine provides smooth and effortless performance, while the well-tuned suspension ensures a composed ride in both city traffic and on long highway journeys. Inside, the cabin reflects Audi’s renowned build quality with premium materials, dual digital displays and a technology-rich environment. However, its conservative design and understated driving character may not appeal to buyers seeking a sportier luxury sedan.

Emotional Connection to Cars

Cars are not just machines they’re dreams and emotions for everyone. Some people find peace in silence; I find it in the sound of a revving engine. You don’t just drive a car you drive a feeling.
