Audi, the German luxury automaker, has announced revised prices for several of its models, which have now become slightly more affordable following the GST rate revision announced by the Government of India on September 3, 2025.As per the new rate structure, cars with an engine capacity of over 1500cc and a length above 4 metres will now attract 40% GST. Previously, these models were taxed at 48% (including GST + Cess).

The revised prices are a welcome change, as most Audi cars are now cheaper by around Rs 3 to Rs 4 lakh. However, models like the Audi e-tron GT, Q8 e-tron, and RS Q8 haven't received any price benefits. Let's take a look at the updated price list.
New Ex-showroom Price:
- Q3 - Rs 43,07,000 - Old Price - Rs 46,14,000
- A4 - Rs 46,25,000 - Old Price - Rs 48,89,000
- A6 - Rs 63,74,000 - Old Price - Rs 67,38,000
- Q5 - Rs 63,75,000 - Old Price - Rs 68,30,000
- Q7 - Rs 86,14,000 - Old Price - Rs 92,29,000
- Q8 - Rs 1,09,66,000 - Old Price - Rs 1,17,49,000

Audi India's flagship SUV, the Q8, is now cheaper by Rs 7.83 lakh (ex-showroom) - the highest savings across the lineup. However, for most buyers, the Q3 will likely be the most attractive option, as it now starts at Rs 43.07 lakh, with a price drop of Rs 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Other luxury brands in the segment have also announced revised pricing, and the entire automotive industry is upbeat after the new GST rate revision, especially since car sales had been plummeting over the past year. With the festive season around the corner, a strong boost in sales is now expected.

After BMW, Mercedes-Benz, the third most desirable luxury brand Audi has also announced new rate list. These prices will be implemented from September 22, so good times ahead for the automotive industry. However, do note that - Audi hasn't said anything about its electric cars and the high performance SUV - RS Q8, as they continue to sell at the same price tag.
