Last Updated On 13th Jul'22: Audi India has finally launched the 2022 A8L and is it available in two trims - Celebration Edition and Technology Pack. The prices for the same stick to Rs 1.29 crore and Rs 1.57 crore, ex-showroom, Delhi. The bookings of the flagship sedan commenced a long time back from Rs 10 lakh.
Design Updates
This facelifted version of the A8L packs in a striking look at the front with a new grille design with chrome highlights, large airdams and a revised bumper design. The chrome strip runs across to the width of the bumper and the sedan also gets redesigned LED matrix headlights. The side profile remains more or less the same except for the new alloy wheels design. At the rear, things remain the same save for the new design of the LED taillights.
What's New?
Most of the features will be retained from the pre-facelift model but in this version, the rear-seat passengers will now get a 10.1-inch infotainment screen alongside a touchscreen remote, a cooler with its own bar compartment, a fold-out console table and more such things.
Engine Options
Mechanically, the newer A8L is powered by a 3.0-litre, TFSI petrol motor with mild-hybrid tech that belts out as much as 338 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 500 Nm. It gets mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and gets an all-wheel-drive technology. The car can do 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds and the top speed is limited to 250 kmph.
