The Mercedes-Benz S-Class comes with a slightly updated exterior that enhances its overall appeal without killing the overall luxury sillouette of the vehicle Up front, the luxury limousine comes with a new twin-star Digital Light headlamps with micro-LED technology, while the illuminated grille is around 20 percent larger than before. With the revised fascia, the sedan now looks more sophisticated and modern.

The rear profile of the sedan gets redesigned tail lamps featuring a three-pointed star lighting signature. It now gets a more clean chrome detailing elements to further enhance the sedan's road presence. While the changes may appear a few at first glance, they all help the S-Class remain one of the most elegant luxury sedans on sale today.

- The interior remains luxurious but gets some updates on the feature front. The biggest update inside the cabin is the introduction of Mercedes-Benz's latest MB.OS operating system. This new software architecture helps in powering the entire vehicle ecosystem. Additionally, it now gets the latest generation MBUX infotainment system. The customers will now get the MBUX Superscreen, AI-powered “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant, Google Maps-based navigation, and an improved user interface.
- For the comfort of the passengers inside the new S-Class, Mercedes-Benz has fitted the sedan with AIRMATIC air suspension, rear-axle steering, and an intelligent suspension system that can prepare for road imperfections using cloud-based vehicle data. Safety remains a key highlight, with the new S-Class offering up to 15 airbags, making it one of the safest luxury sedans available in India.

- The heart of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with an electric motor to produce a combined output of 435 hp and 680 Nm. For the first time, Mercedes has introduced a complete plug-in hybrid powertrain for the Indian market. The power from the engine is sent to the rear wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
- With the help of the plug-in hybrid setup, the S 450 e can travel up to 115 km on complete EV mode. The EV mode helps in making daily city commutes possible without using a drop of fuel.
- Despite its focus on efficiency and comfort, performance remains impressive, with the luxury sedan capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 kmph.
