Last Updated on 4th March'24 : Toyota has taken a step to ensure the safety of its Land Cruiser LC300 luxury SUV owners in India by announcing a recall. The reason behind this recall is to update the software in the electronic control unit (ECU) of the 10-speed automatic transmission.

Performance: The Toyota Land Cruiser is a marvel of automotive engineering, boasting an impressive fusion of hybrid technology and a turbo 4-cylinder engine. This hybrid powertrain delivers a staggering 465 lb.-ft. of torque, instilling you with unwavering confidence to conquer vast terrains effortlessly. Equipped with Full-Time 4WD, power flows continuously to both the front and rear axles, ensuring a secure and steady drive in all conditions. With a remarkable 6000-lb. towing capacity, the Land Cruiser opens doors to a world of new adventures. Whether it's towing a boat, camper, or other equipment, this SUV's towing prowess guarantees that your next escapade is just a hitch away.

Engine Options: Globally, the Land Cruiser gets two petrol and one diesel engine options – 3.5L twin turbocharged petrol, a naturally aspirated petrol motor and a 3.3L twin turbocharged diesel motor. For Indian market, the carmaker will be bringing in the oil burner. This motor generates as much as 307 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 700 Nm. It is mated to a 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. 

Features and Safety Equipment: The new Toyota Land Cruiser is offered with a sunroof, large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power adjustable front seats, connected car tech, multi-zone climate control and more. Safety equipment include multiple airbags, adaptive cruise control, hill descent and hill hold control, ABS with EBD and ESP, traction control and more.
