The Ford EcoSport is one of the 5 different models from the house of Ford. Prices for this SUV start from Rs 799000 and buyers can pick from as many as 10 different versions. The transmission options on the Ford EcoSport include both Manual and Automatic gearbox. The EcoSport offers a max power of 123PS@6500rpm. Some of the main rivals include Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Ertiga.
I am using the new Ecosport 1.5-L dragon with automatic gearbox. The engine feels very powerful and refined and the automatic gearbox too is very smooth and is fast with the shifts. Overall, the Ecosport petrol automatic is a great car for city usage and feels as good when out on the highways. The car returns me around 12 KMPL in the city traffic. I like the bold front fascia of the car. My car is black in colour and requires a lot of efforts to keep it clean. Apart from that, the regular service costs me around Rs 4-5 thousand and the overall support from the brand has been great so far. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who is planning to buy a sub-4M SUV.
I am using the Ford Ecosport Trend TDCi since two years and overall, I am very happy with the product. The car not only looks great, but also gets a great build quality and is very practical car for everyday use. The brand however should improve the rear seat space of the car. The rear seat bench is comfortable but the legroom is poor at the rear. The engine feels very powerful and refined while the gearbox too is very easy to use. The overall visibility from the driver side is not very great but the steering response is great and it is always fun to push this car into the corners. I use the car on the highway and get around 20-22 KMPL regularly. The after sales support so far has been great and warranty claims too were efficiently handled by the brand.
I recently bought the new face-lifted Ecosport Titanium Plus with new 1.5-L Dragon engine. The car looks extremely bold and aggressive and has proper SUV stance. In addition to this, the seats are comfortable and the touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC 3 system is great to use. The best part about the car is its steering and engine response. When pushed hard, it gives a huge smile on my face. Moreover, the car also gets all the safety features such as six airbags, ABS, EBD, HHA, TCS, etc. The build quality of the car is great. The mileage that I am getting rom this car is around 14-16 KMPL in mixed usage with AC on. I will update the review when I will have significant experience about the after sales support from the brand.
