2021 Ford EcoSport Facelift to Launch This September - EXCLUSIVE

Ford EcoSport revolutionized the sub-4-metre compact SUV segment in the country. The EcoSport was first launched in India in the year 2013 and over the years, it received several cosmetic and mechanical updates and a major facelift in 2017. Now, this popular sub-compact SUV is all set to get another facelift update very soon. We have got some exclusive information about the launch timeline of the 2021 Ford EcoSport Facelift through our dealership-level sources.

What To Expect

The upcoming new facelifted Ford EcoSport has been recently spied on test in the country at several instances revealing some key details about it. The new EcoSport Facelift will feature a revised front fascia. It is expected to get a revamped grille along with a new front bumper, new L-shaped LED DRLs and circular foglights. It will get new five-spoke alloy wheels too, however, at the rear, it won't sport any major changes. The EcoSport Facelift might get new upholstery and an updated infotainment system. Ford might offer some new colour shades too, including the Luxe Yellow colour sold globally.

Ford EcoSport Facelift Specifications

The Ford EcoSport Facelift is not expected to get any mechanical changes. It will still be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 122 PS of power and 149 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It will also get a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner churns out 100 PS of power and 215 Nm of peak torque and it comes mated a 5-speed manual gearbox only.

Ford EcoSport Facelift - Launch Timeline and Price

According to our dealership sources in Pune, the new 2021 Ford EcoSport Facelift BS6 will be launched in India in the month of September and the deliveries will commence soon after the launch.
