Launched in an updated version in 2018, the Xcent offers a sportier look in the segment. The Xcent takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford
Aspire, Tata Tigor and Volkswagen Ameo. It is a reliable car and is trusted by the fleet car owners. The car offers positioning LED lamps that are integrated to the bumper and give an identity to the sub-4m compact sedan. The Xcent offers both petrol and diesel engine options in the market. The petrol variants of the car get powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine unit while the diesel powered variants get the 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine option. The petrol versions also offer a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic while the diesel engine only offers a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel variants offer a whopping fuel efficiency of 25.4 km/l while the petrol versions return a maximum of 17.36 km/l. The Hyundai Xcent also gets a decent list of features in the segment. It offers a 7.0-inch touchscreen display, automatic climate control system, electrically foldable ORVMs, push-button start, rear parking sensors and camera. The sedan also gets dual-front airbags, ABS and EBD as standard features.
