    Love the design!

This is my second car after the Chevrolet Beat. We had a look at a lot of other cars but I went for this due to the unconventional design and the ease of driving parameter. Its been two years and as my clinic is nearby, I have only done about 9500km till now. Love the cabin layout, peppy engine and frugal nature. However, the AMT can be jerky in traffic once the engine and gearbox heat up. Likewise, in start stop traffic, fuel economy can go down to as low as 9-10 kmpl. Service experience has been bad - they soiled the manual one, on one occasion the problems weren't rectified, on another the promised discount on labour charges wasn't given. But each time I drive my red Ignis, the smile comes back on my face

    Value for money for me

I drive a 2020 model Ignis BS4 top model AMT. The high discounts in Feb 2020 were the determining factor as I wanted a small car but with features and safety for my driving inside Delhi roads. As of July 2020 I have done only 3200km due to pandemic but now have joined office back. The AMT is easy for traffic but some jerks remain which I understand I have to live with. This is the same engine I am told that also comes with Dzire and Swift and is easy on the pocket. I have not calculated the economy but it seems to be good. The rear seats are good for my parents and they feel comfortable with the height. However, slow speed ride is not very cosy and some jerks come inside. Otherwise, the Ignis is a good buy and the top model has features like push button start and a very comprehensive touch screen system. One thing that I find odd are the thin tyres that do not look good with the overall body design. I am planning to change them to wider tyres and I hope this improves the stance and the high speed manners which are not very reassuring as of now. Thank you and I hope my feedback helps other people who want to buy the Ignis

Review from Himachal - Happy so far

Hello. This is our review of a 2018 Ignis petrol model that we purchased after exchanging our Alto K10. The change was good and I will like to explain these in detail here. First is the cabin space that is much more and is a surprise for the size the car is. Second is the smooth 1200cc engine that has one more cylinder than Alto. The fuel economy is similar and yet we have more performance here and this is important as we live in hilly terrain. Next is the braking which gives me a lot of confidence at higher speeds and going the hilly roads. One more feature is the boot space which is big and the seats fold nicely to increase it further. The cabin is also quite and engine is low on vibrations. These are my opinions. In terms for mileage, we get 10 kmpl and more as we live in hilly terrains but when we go down to main city on open roads, the mileage gets increased to 15kmpl. I hope this model continues to sell nicely and all the best to other consumers for the same

    BS6 Ignis review

We bought the BS6 Ignis after seeing the car at the Auto Expo. It is a red colour with contrast roof and simply in love with the design. Our experience at Nexa outlet was good and so far, the car has done 3500km. No complaints whatsoever inspite of people asking us to buy other bigger cars in the same price. This is an automatic and fully loaded. My wife is a fan of the infotainment system and I find the gearbox easy to understand for traffic usage. We are getting 13 kmpl as per tank fill up and the inspite of no rear ac outlets, the kids feel comfortable. One issue as I understand now is the steering wheel that does not offer active return feature. Otherwise, we are all very happy with the purchase. I don’t think I need to add any accessory as car is fully loaded and seems value packed for the price. So my feedback to those who review the car as per size, there is a lot more to this little hatchback. Test drive once and you will understand what we are experiencing

    Affordable and efficient diesel hatchback

We bought an Ignis home in 2017 and its been four years of excellent ownership. This is a rare diesel model that was later not available for sale. I think we did a wise decision by opting for a diesel as have saved over Rs 1 lac till now in the 45000km usage. Being a light car, our Ignis diesel delivers 25 kmpl on highway and 20 kmpl on city roads. Only drawback we find is the noise of the motor, otherwise very happy with performance. Also, this car looks small from outside but has good space for a family. Only area of improvement is the cladding that comes around the body. It has started fading a bit and needs black polishing regularly. Routine service is cheap and suspension is good for bad roads. Overall, happy with the purchase so far!
