Maruti Suzuki Ignis Mileage Tips

Air pressure vs Fuel economy

Keeping your car's tyre pressure at the recommended level improves fuel economy by up to 5%. Underinflated tyres create drag, causing the engine to work harder. Check air pressure every two weeks and before long trips. Slightly higher pressure (by 1-2 PSI) for highway drives can further boost mileage.

The Ignis is an amazing car in its segment. It is one of the most comfortable cars available under ₹8 lakh, and the mileage is also impressive. I recommend the Ignis to anyone planning to buy a car in this budget.

Reliable Performer

I’ve been using the diesel automatic variant of this vehicle for the past 7 years. It offers excellent mileage performance, good road grip, and average comfort and maintenance costs. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient car.

Reliable Car Experience

Review image by Jitesh kumar
This car has never let me down it's been almost 7 years now, but it's still outperforming even the new models. And the mileage is around 26–27 km/l, which is truly amazing.

Smart Performer

This is a great car with excellent mileage. The AGS (Auto Gear Shift) system feels a bit different from manual transmission, but it adds a lot of driving convenience, especially in city traffic. With a few modifications, the car can look truly stunning. It’s a practical and reliable choice that delivers solid performance and impressive style when customized.
