This is the new flagship SUV of VW India, which means it represents the absolute best the brand has to offer. It shares its platform and several key components with the Skoda Kodiaq, but enthusiasts will appreciate it more, as it is both luxurious and fun to drive.</p>

	<li>The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is the extended version of the Tiguan R-Line, as it features a third row of seats. It looks elegant from all angles and carries a modern, glossy design language that makes it stand out. Curvaceous and bold design elements are the highlights of this vehicle, and the 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels look aesthetically pleasing.</li>
	<li>The front profile is neat and well-executed, featuring LED headlights and connected LED DRLs. The bumper has a glossy finish that adds to its stylish appearance. Below this, a silver skid plate completes the look.</li>

	<li>There is plenty of storage space inside, with large compartments and well-thought-out keeping areas, so you never feel short on room. However, the third row is best suited for children, as the floor is raised and legroom is minimal.</li>
	<li>When it comes to boot space, the Tayron R-Line offers 345 L with all three rows up. Folding the third row increases it to 850 L, and with the second row down, the total space expands to a massive 1,905 L. This makes the SUV highly practical for tasks like moving household items, and even allows for sleeping inside during trips.</li>

 The assembled in India Tayron R Line is a great package for those looking at a full sized premium SUV in the Rs 50 lakh segment. Volkswagen seems to have gotten it right - we drove the car in and around Jaisalmer and came back impressed! 
The VW Tayron R Line uses the same 2.0 litre turbo petrol that powers the Skoda Kodiaq and the Tiguan R Line. The extra length (over the Tiguan) helps plot in a 3rd row and a spacious boot too.

We are driving the soon to be launched 200 bhp 3-row SUV from Volkswagen. Its called the Tayron and comes in the R-Line spec. While there is an embargo on our opinions, this is what you need to know about the 50 lakh VW SUV. 
Rivals include the Skoda Kodiaq, VW's own Tiguan R-Line, Toyota Fortuner, MG Majestor and the Jeep Meridian. Do note, unlike the Tiguan R-Line, this is assembled in India and is not a CBU import.
