Volvo XC 40 Engine: The Volvo XC 40 is now only available with a petrol engine. Volvo's entry-level SUV is powered by a 1969cc petrol engine that delivers 187 bhp of power and 300Nm of peak torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels.

Volvo XC 40 Price: The XC 40 is priced at Rs 44.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volvo XC 40 Recharge: In India, Volvo is preparing to launch the electric version of the XC 40 dubbed XC 40 Recharge. The XC 40 Recharge will be locally assembled, lowering the cost of Volvo's first EV in India. The introduction is planned to take place in July. The Volvo XC40 Recharge will be available for delivery starting in October 2022.
