Gesture-Controlled Powered Tailgate

Maruti Suzuki Victoris comes with a lot of features that are first for any Maruti car, and one among those features is the Gesture-Controlled Powered Tailgate. The brand has integrated this feature to add more convenience for the customers. The powered tailgate with gesture control operations makes boot opening easy when your hands are full with luggage or bags. The Victoris is the first Maruti vehicle to get this feature.

Variants Available: The gesture-controlled powered tailgate is available from the top-of-the-line ZXi trim onwards. The brand is yet to unveil the pricing of the Victoris.

Competitors With The Same Feature

Tata Curvv: Tata Curvv was the first mid-size SUV to feature the Gesture-Controlled Powered Tailgate. The powered tailgate in the Curvv is available in the Accomplished+ A variant priced at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the mid-size SUV segment, rivals like the Hyundai Creta, KIA Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, among others, come with a manual tailgate operation.

Level 2 ADAS

Another new feature that has made entry to Maruti's lineup with the Victoris is the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This model includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning, among others. The Level 2 ADAS greatly improves the overall safety of the vehicle and protects other road users as well.

Competitors With The Same Feature

Hyundai Creta: Hyundai Creta is one of the most loaded mid-size SUVs in the Indian market. Starting from the SX Tech variant, the Creta offers Level 2 ADAS features. The SX Tech variant is priced at Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

This design places the CNG cylinder beneath the boot, maximizing the available space without compromising usability. However, the positioning of the CNG cylinder has raised safety concerns related to the underbody installation. Overall, this unique feature allows for a full boot space while accommodating the CNG system.
