Last Updated On 11th Jun’22: Launched back in 2011, the Volkswagen Vento was the first C-segment sedan from a German car maker in India. The Volkswagen Vento became an instant hit in the Indian market. The Volkswagen Vento was known for its supreme ride quality, tough build, & powerful engine options. The cabin & interior space also became one of the major reasons behind the success of the Volkswagen Vento. After being in production for nearly 11 years, VW has discontinued the Vento sedan. The Volkswagen Vento has been replaced by the newly launched Volkswagen Virtus sedan in the C-segment. As per the latest updates available on the brand's official website, the Vento is only available with Highline and Matt Edition trim options. Variants like Comfortline, Highline, and Highline Plus are no more available on the website. However, it is worth noting that the Matt Edition models can be still had in Highline and Highline Plus variants. While the brand is yet to officially confirm the updates, it is expected that it has permanently discontinued the above-mentioned variants.
