Every month, carmakers introduce several discount schemes to increase their market share and sales of their cars. For March 2022, both VW and Skoda are offering lucrative discounts as high as Rs 2.39 lakh. Let's check out which model gets the highest discount!
Skoda Kushaq
Launched back in 2021, Kushaq is the first product based on the newer MQB AO IN platform. The carmaker is offering a discount worth Rs 15,000 cash discount on the top of the line Style variant. There might be a loyalty bonus too but then that is applicable only if you're a current Skoda or a VW owner.

Skoda Kushaq is powered by two engine options - 1.0L TSI making 114 bhp of power on tap with 178 Nm of peak torque and a more powerful, 1.5L TSI that process 148 bhp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. Both the engines get mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and for the automatic, 1.0L TSI gets a 6-speed AT while the 1.5L is paired to a 7-speed DSG. It is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
VW Taigun
Based on the similar MQB AO IN platform, Taigun too is powered by the same engine options as the Skoda Kushaq. VW is offering a cash offer worth Rs 15,000 on the Topline as well as the GT Line variant. VW Taigun is available for Rs 11 lakh for the base variant and the top-end trim fetching till Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
VW Vento
As of now, the production of the Vento has been axed, however, some dealers are offering discounts as high as Rs 2.39 lakh on the 1.0L TSI paired to AT unit. To clear the stocks left and to welcome their upcoming sedan, Virtus, dealers are offering such high discounts.

Skoda is not offering any discount on their flagship model, Kodiaq. The popularity of this SUV is such that it is already sold out for 2022. Similarly, there are no offers on their recently launched Slavia too. VW is now accepting the bookings for their upcoming sedan, Virtus. It will be made available in two models - the Dynamic Line that will be powered with a 1.0L TSI and the Performance Line that will get a 1.5L unit under the hood.
