KIA has officially revealed the exterior design of the upcoming Carnival facelift. The 2024 KIA Carnival will get major changes in terms of design & styling. Additionally, the new model will feature new comfort oriented cabin design as well as technology. The Indian debut of this new MPV models will take place next year. 2024 KIA Carnival Facelift - Details
The new Carnival luxury MPV is one of the awaited models for 2024. The Carnival facelift model has received tremendous updates in terms of design. The substantial upgrades are easily visible from the go. At the front, it now gets a new Seltos SUV inspired LED light bar & headlight setup. The long vertical LED lights are well coupled with a new front grille & a revised bumper. The new model is now more boxy in terms of overall shape. The side profile also gets revised with new alloy wheels & the sliding rear gate as well. While KIA has not released the specs, we suspect that the new model will be more or less same in dimensions.
At the rear end, the new set of LED taillights and the connecting light bar makes the profile more upmarket. The addition of brushed aluminum inserts on the bumpers and the C-pillars make it look even more premium than before. Contrary, the inside photos and details have not been revealed yet. The new cabin is also expected to feature radical changes like the exteriors. Underneath the bonnet, KIA will debut a new 1.6-lt turbo-petrol engine with strong hybrid powertrain. However, the powertrain specs of the Indian version will remain the same as before with minor changes only.
Verdict
The new KIA Carnival is set to debut in the Indian market next year. It'll be launched and sold via the CKD route. Hence, the pricing will remain on the premium side. With new features, we expect that its pricing will be at least Rs 1-1.5 lakh more than the outgoing model. Currently, there are no direct competitors to it in India apart from the Toyota Innova Hycross.
