Yesterday (9/18/2024), Revolt Motors launched the cheapest electric bike, the RV1, in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 84,990. This launch grabbed all the attention, causing many to overlook the updated Revolt RV400, the automaker's flagship e-bike. The RV400 now comes with a new fast charger that fully charges the bike in 90 minutes.
Additionally, it has a reverse mode, an improved digital display, and, most importantly, an extended range of 160 km, an increase of 10 km. Lastly, a new color, Lunar Green, has been introduced. 2024 Revolt RV400 Updates
The flagship e-bike from Revolt starts at Rs 1,16,750 ex-showroom and it features a 3.24 kWh of removable battery pack, that now offers range of 160 km with the top speed of 85 km in sports mode. The company has also updated it with a new reverse mode, which was missing, and comes in handy in tight parking spots.
Additionally, a new charger is now available, which fully charges the RV400 in 90 minutes - a significant improvement from the previous model, which took 4.5 hours to go from 0 to 100 percent. Moreover, the digital instrument cluster has been upgraded for seamless Bluetooth connectivity.
Talking about safety, Revolt says they have upgraded this bike with a built-in leg guard and a center stand, providing more safety than ever before. Additionally, a new color called Lunar Green has been introduced, and a CAN-based communication system has been added to make the bike more intelligent.
To clarify, the CAN (Controller Area Network) system acts as a bridge between all the electronic components in the vehicle. Through this system, all the electronic systems can communicate with each other and work together to provide a seamless experience for the rider or driver.
