The production version of the e-bike is scheduled to launch in India on the upcoming September 21. It will come loaded with loads of connected technology and aggressive pricing.

Hop Oxo 100 Electric Details
The Hop is an upcoming Indian EV brand. Based in Bangalore, its first product is an electric motorcycle. The Oxo 100 is one of the awaited e-bike launches of this year. It is claimed to come with a bigger battery pack and loads of features.
Speaking of its design, the bike was revealed by the manufacturer earlier this year. It has a generic motorcycle design as it has been based on a naked sports layout. The compact design has been accomplished with the latest tech. The company has fitted it with LED lighting, touchscreen infotainment, multiple riding modes, etc. The company claims it is a performance EV rather than a generic e-bike like the rest of the rivals.
It has a claimed top speed of up to 100 kmph. Additionally, the large battery pack has an expected riding range from 100 - 150 km per charge. This depends upon the riding mode chosen and the riding environment as well. However, it has been fitted with specs seen on premium commuter ICE-powered bikes. The front suspension is comprised of chunky telescopic forks while the rear comes with a single monoshock spring setup.
It also comes with lightweight alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, & petal disc brakes on both tyres. Hop claims that it has completed more than 75,000 km of distance during the testing phase of the Oxo 100. It is rumored to be the most tested e-motorcycle made in India ever. The certification from ARAI was later published; once the extensive testing via 20 cities was completed. Hop has tested the bike in extreme Indian weather conditions in cities like Jodhpur, etc.
Launch Price & Rivals
The company has already told us that it will be very aggressively pricing the Oxo 100. Upon its launch on September 21, we expect it shall be priced in the vicinity of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Its main rivals in India are - Revolt RV 400, Tork Kratos, & Oben Rorr.
