1. Keeway RR 300: The Most Affordable Fully-Faired 300cc Bike Yet!

Keeway has launched the new Keeway RR 300 in India at a highly aggressive price point of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable 300cc liquid-cooled faired motorcycle currently on sale in the country. While it might wear a new badge and updated graphics, there's more to unpack about what this model brings, or rather reintroduces, to the market, but it is largely something that we have already seen.
2. Familiar Engine
Powering the RR 300 is the same 292.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that featured on the earlier K300 R. It continues to deliver 27.5 PS at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. A slipper clutch is also on board, aiding smoother downshifts. The claimed top speed stands at 139 km/h, which is quite respectable for this segment.

3. Styling and Visual Identity
Visually, the Keeway RR 300 retains the same bodywork and aggressive stance as its predecessor. It comes with sharp body panels, a sporty full fairing, and boomerang-style LED DRLs. Clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs, and a raked tail section all add to its track-ready appeal. It's offered in three color options: Red, White, and Black, each sporting updated graphics and RR 300 branding.
4. Hardware and Features
The underpinnings remain largely unchanged. It's built on a bassinet-style trellis frame, suspended by a 37mm USD fork up front with 110mm travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear with 46mm travel. Braking is handled by a 292mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear, both assisted by dual-channel ABS. The RR 300 further rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyre setup. It also features a TFT digital instrument cluster, all-LED lighting, and weighs in at 165 kg (kerb). Seat height stands at 780 mm with 135 mm of ground clearance, and the fuel tank holds 12 litres.

5. Keeway RR 300- Pricing And Rivals
What truly sets the RR 300 apart is its new pricing. At Rs. 1.99 lakh, it's nearly Rs. 1 lakh cheaper than the K300 R's original launch price from 2022. This significantly improves its value proposition, placing it well below rivals like the KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR, and TVS Apache RR 310 in terms of affordability.
Verdict
The Keeway RR 300 might not be an all-new motorcycle, but it makes a strong case for itself with its revised pricing and respectable performance package. For riders seeking an accessible entry into the faired sportbike world without compromising on looks, features, or cooling tech, this rebadged offering delivers. That said, those expecting mechanical or performance upgrades over the previous version might find it a bit underwhelming. Still, for the price-conscious enthusiast, the RR 300 is now a far more appealing proposition than it ever was before.
