A few weeks back we brought you exclusive visuals of the upcoming Okinawa Okhi90 electric scooter and now have access to more exclusive details. The scooter seems all set to create benchmarks in the segment and should be in showrooms in a month or two. Do note, Okinawa is the one of the largest manufacturers of electric two wheelers in India.
The Okinawa Okhi 90 electric scooter might end up providing one of the best real world riding range in India. If sources are to be believed, this scooter will offer a range of as much as 160km! This is more than ample for riders who will be using it for multiple runs on a daily basis.
The scooter will also make use of Aluminum alloy wheels which will be light weight (to aid performance) and look good at the same time. Next, the Okhi 90 will come with a detachable (removable) battery. This means owners will be able to take it home for charging it overnight. This feature is seen in other two wheelers like the Revolt offerings.
The Okinawa Okhi90 will also come with in-built GPS feature, very useful for providing navigation on the move. The seat is also long and wide, thus aiding comfort when riding with a pillion. The scooter will go on sale before end of March and prices are expected to be in the Rs 1.25 to 1.50 lakh range. We wish the company all the success with this practical, useful electric scooter.
