Orxa Mantis - Colour, Design, And Features!

The Orxa Mantis offers a choice between two stylish colours  Urban Black and Jungle Grey. Crafted with precision on an aerospace-grade alloy frame, this electric wonder is not just a bike; it's an experience. The side view flaunts sleek, edgy panels, adding a touch of sportiness to its demeanour. Up front, Mantis-inspired twin projector LED headlights light up the path, while the rear borrows sleek aesthetics from the cool street-naked ICE motorcycles in the market.

Speaking of dimensions, it's got a wheelbase that stretches out to 1450mm, a seat height at a comfy 815mm, and a ground clearance of 180mm. Oh, and when it comes to weight, it tips the scales at 182kg. Smooth rides, stylish looks  the Orxa Mantis, is a real head-turner and road-churner, much like the prototype that wowed everyone at the 2022 Indian Bike Week.

Let's talk features  this bike rocks a 5-inch digital TFT display with Bluetooth, synced up with the Mantis app for navigation and cool extras like phone alerts and rider analytics. Plus, it's got Regenerative Braking, Orxa's slick ride-by-wire tech, and a handy Side Stand Sensor.

The Mantis runs on a cool liquid-cooled electric motor, boasting a peak power of 20.5 kW and a peak torque of 93 Nm. With a top speed of 135 kmph and a swift 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds, this electric wonder is no slouch. Its 8.9 kWh fixed battery promises a range of up to 221 km  ample for your journeys. Charging is a breeze with the standard 1.3 kW wall-mounted charger, taking 5 hours for 0 to 80 per cent. Need it quicker? Opt for the 3.3 kW charger, zipping from 0 to 80 per cent in just 2.5 hours.

It rides smoothly on a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front and a rear mono-shock, adjustable for preload. It stops gracefully with disc brakes on both endsa sizable 320 mm upfront and a responsive 230 mm at the rear.

Beyond this, Orxa plans to offer various accessories for its electric bike, such as side panniers, a top box, and a top rack; however, the prices for these add-ons are yet to be revealed. The company anticipates starting deliveries of the bike in Bengaluru around April 2024, with delivery timelines for other cities yet to be disclosed. The vehicle, motor, and battery are covered by a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km.
