Revolt Electric Bike Bookings To Re-Open On This Date - Check Out All The Details

Revolt Intellicorp launched the Revolt RV 400 and the RV 300 in India in the year 2019 and these were the first electric motorcycles to be launched in the Indian market. Revolt's electric bikes became an instant hit and while a few weeks ago, its bookings were temporarily closed down due to high demand, today we have some good news for you. The company has announced that the bookings for the Revolt Electric Bike will be re-opened on July 15, 2021.

Revolt Electric Bikes - A Brief History

The Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 were launched in India in 2019 but in recent times, these electric bikes have started gaining a lot of traction, thanks to the ever-increasing fuel prices. In May 2021, RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd invested Rs 150 Crores in Revolt and acquired a substantial stake. At the same time, the company also paused taking any fresh bookings due to high demand. Then in June 2021, Revolt opened its online portal for bookings but an entire lot amounting to Rs 50 Crores got sold out within just 120 minutes.

Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 - Booking Details

Revolt Motors has now announced that the bookings for the Revolt RV 400 and the RV 300 will re-open on July 15, 2021, at 12 PM. One can book these new electric bikes by visiting Revolt's official website. As of now, Revolt's electric bikes are available in six Indian cities only. They are Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. However, the company is planning to gradually expand to several more cities to increase its presence.

Revolt Electric Bike - Price Details

Thanks to the FAME II revisions, the price of these new Revolt electric bikes were recently reduced significantly in India. Also, special thanks to the new Gujarat EV policy due to which the Revolt electric bikes now cost the least in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Revolt RV 400 recently received a massive price cut of Rs 28,000 and in most Indian cities, it is currently priced at Rs 1.06 lakhs. However, buyers in Gujarat and Delhi get added subsidies. In Delhi, the new RV 400 costs Rs 90,799 while in Ahmedabad, it costs just Rs 87,000.

Revolt Electric Bike - Specification

The Revolt RV 400 gets a 3kW electric motor that has a peak power output of 3000 watts (around 4 PS) and the top speed is rated at 80 kmph. It gets three Riding Modes - Eco, City and Sport. It is coupled to a 72-volt 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery and has an ARAI-certified range of 156 kilometres on a single charge. It can be fully charged in 4.5 hours via a regular charger.
