The new Special Edition comes with two new colour options, Mamba Black and Puma Grey. These new colourways also offer new graphics and a redesigned brand logo to enhance the appeal of the motorcycle. The brand has also enhanced the ergonomics of the motorcycle by offering an aerodynamic flyscreen, increased handlebar height for a more upright posture, an adjustable brake lever, and retuned suspension.
Now, how does all this make a difference for the rider? The new flyscreen helps reduce fatigue at high speeds and offers better high-speed manoeuvrability. With the raised handlebars, the rider can now sit in a more relaxed and upright posture on the motorcycle. This enhances reach to the handlebars and reduces strain on the wrists, shoulders, and lower back. Additionally, the rider can manage the steering more easily and perform better manoeuvres in city riding conditions.

Coming to the hardware adjustments, the new Tuono gets a retuned suspension specifically made for Indian riding conditions. The brand has made the initial stroke softer to absorb undulations. It gets preload adjustability at the front and rear, allowing the rider to make adjustments as per their needs. The damping and compression of the suspension have been tweaked for better comfort, and the seat foam has also been revised. With the special edition the rider also gets an adjustable brake lever to match their hand size and finger reach. The rider gets enhanced comfort and better grip over the brake, allowing them to maintain good control of the motorcycle, especially in panic braking situations. It also results in reduced fatigue and offers better feedback from the brake lever.

Apart from all the above-mentioned changes, the Tuono continues to get a coloured TFT instrument console, all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, among other features. It continues to draw power from a 457cc parallel-twin engine producing 47.6 bhp and 43.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
