Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Passion+ Disc, adding a feature-rich variant to one of India's most recognized commuter motorcycle nameplates. Positioned for urban riders who demand practicality without compromising on technology and safety, the new variant strengthens the Passion lineup's long-standing presence in the commuter segment.
The Hero Passion is a people's product, and the numbers reflect it clearly. In March, the motorcycle clocked sales of around 24,000 units. April saw approximately 20,000 units sold, while May recorded around 16,000 units. The average monthly sales of the Hero Passion across January to May 2025 is approximately 19,893 units. Despite a gradual month-on-month dip, the Passion continues to move strong volumes - a testament to its enduring appeal in the commuter segment.

Features and Safety

The most notable addition is the front disc brake, bringing sharper and more responsive braking to a segment that has largely relied on drum setups. Complementing this is a fully digital instrument cluster packed with connected features such as Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, real-time mileage indicator, service reminders, trip meter, and a USB charging port to keep riders connected on the go. A segment-first LED projector headlamp enhances visibility during night rides and low-light conditions, while a side stand indicator with engine cut-off prevents the motorcycle from being ridden with the stand engaged, a thoughtful safety addition for everyday riders.
Design and Comfort

The Passion+ Disc arrives with a refreshed, contemporary look that builds on the nameplate's iconic character. Ergonomics have been carefully tuned for long city commutes, featuring a plush seat designed for both rider and pillion comfort. A relaxed riding triangle reduces fatigue on extended rides, while a spacious utility case adds everyday practicality.
Colours and Price
The motorcycle is available in four dual-tone colour options.
- Heavy Grey
- Nexus Blue
- Dark Industrial Grey
- Pearl Red.
It is priced at Rs. 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi), available across all Hero MotoCorp dealerships nationwide.
End Note

The Passion+ Disc is a well-timed and well-judged update. Hero hasn't reinvented the Passion; it has simply made it harder to say no to. A front disc brake, segment-first LED projector headlamp, and a connected digital cluster bring genuine value to a price point that remains accessible. For a commuter motorcycle that already sells in large volumes on the strength of its reputation alone, these additions only sharpen its case further. In a segment where buyers weigh every rupee carefully, the Passion+ Disc gives them more reason to stay within the Hero fold rather than look elsewhere.
