On the inside, there are quite a lot of changes and the Era variant of the i20 is a base variant in the real sense. It seems like a barebone with only usable bits and very minimal goodies. The new base variant of the i20 gets AC but no rear AC vents. Also, it doesn't get any sort of music system, misses out on steering-mounted audio controls, steering adjustment feature and more. If we talk about its powertrain options, so the Era variant will be offered with the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine only.
