Suzuki Motorcycle India August 2026 Sales Report: 120,611 Units, Domestic Sales Grow 13%

Suzuki Motorcycle India has posted a strong August sales number. The company clocked a total sale of 120,611 units in August 2026, which reflects a 6 percent increase over the 113,936 units sold in August 2025. The rise in sales primarily came from the domestic market, which continued to outpace last year's numbers by a wide margin, even as exports saw a dip during the month. Apart from that, the company also talked about its spare parts business hitting an all-time high in revenue and a fresh set of customer-facing initiatives rolled out across cities. Let's look at this month's sales report in detail.

Domestic sales stood at 103,118 units in August 2026, up from 91,629 units in the same month last year. It is a noticeable increase of 13% year-on-year growth within India. However, in this month there is a dip in export sales, it clocked 17,493 units in August 2026 against 22,307 units in August 2025.
Commenting on the numbers, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India said the company remains grateful for the continued support of its customers, dealer partners and suppliers. He added that as the festive season approaches, the focus stays on making the Suzuki ownership journey more engaging and rewarding, while staying connected with customers at every stage of their association with the brand.
Spare Parts Business Hits Record High

The company has more to talk about beyond just vehicle sales, SMIPL's spare parts business also had a strong month. Spare parts sales touched an all-time high revenue of INR 1,033 million in August 2026, which is a solid 21% growth over the INR 855.6 million clocked in August 2025. This points to a growing base of Suzuki two-wheelers on Indian roads generating steady aftersales business for the company.
Our Verdict
With domestic demand growing at a healthy pace and the festive season around the corner, Suzuki Motorcycle India looks well placed to build on this August momentum. Add to that a record spare parts run and a steady calendar of on-ground rider engagement activities, and the brand's focus on strengthening both sales and ownership experience is clearly showing results.
