Design: The round headlamp unit, plush body panels, chrome mirrors, indicators built into the front apron, and swooping lines all around the scooter are design cues taken from Italian-designed scooters. It has 10-inch alloy wheels, a telescopic front fork, and a mono-shock rear shock absorber.

Segment: The Pure EV's EPluto 7G comes with a claimed top speed of 60 km/h. This makes it a high-speed electric scooter and needs registration.

Motor & Performance: A 60V 2.5kWh portable battery powers the 1.5kW nominal and 2.2kW peak BLDC motor works on the scooter.

You need no license or registration in India for scooters that have their top speed capped at 25km per hour or have a motor of 250W or lower. However, the PURE EV Epluto is powered by a 1800 W Brushless Hub Motor and the top speed is 60 kmph, thus requiring license and registration.
