The Yamaha R15S is a faired sportbike powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with VVA technology producing around 18.4PS. It features dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch, LED lighting, and sporty design with a slightly more comfortable seat setup than the R15 V4.

Latest Update On 14th Feb'25: The Yamaha R15S continues to sell with the same specifications and features on offer and enjoys no special discounts. The USP of this variant of the R15 is the unibody seat, which enhances seat comfort for the pillion rider. It continues to be powered by a 155cc LC4C engine that produces 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm of torque.

The Yamaha R15 S is a sports bike priced at Rs 1,65,700 ex-showroom. The only difference between the R15 S and the regular R15 is that it features a unibody seat and a new LCD console. The advantage of the unibody seat is that two people can comfortably sit on the R15 S and even travel long distances. The heart of this bike is a 155cc single overhead camshaft engine that produces 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm of torque.

Best Bike in Segment

Favorite and best bike in this segment. Looks very aggressive. Everything is good. Mileage is best, and speed is also great. Overall, superb and best bike in this segment.

Powerful and Efficient Ride

I have been using the R15 V3 since 2021. Best in power, mileage of 50 km/l, and very user-friendly for the rider. One tank gives a 400 km ride. Best braking system with ABS and dual disc brakes.

Yamaha reduced prices of the R15 lineup by Rs 5,000 across all variants as part of its 70th anniversary celebration, with prices now starting from Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle continues with the 155cc liquid-cooled engine and features including traction control, assist and slipper clutch and quickshifter depending on variant. The revision makes the supersport more accessible for a limited period.
