It comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a cooled glove box, and independent rear AC vents, among other features. Priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Techno variant is available with a manual transmission only. If you're looking for an AMT option or a fully-loaded package, the top-spec Emotion variant is the one to go for.

The 2025 Renault Triber has seen improvements in styling and a few features. It remains one of the most affordable 3-row MPVs available in the Indian market. Renault has managed the cabin space well, and the updated design gives it a more upmarket appeal compared to the previous version. However, there are still a few areas that could be improved to offer better value. The engine remains the same underpowered 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder unit producing 71 bhp. If you're looking for space and affordability, the Triber is a good option, but be prepared to compromise on performance.

Last Updated On 23rd Jul'25:  Renault Triber facelift finally debuts at a starting price of ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets a new set of features and a bold new design, all at the same affordable price point. Not so new is the 1.0L naturally aspirated engine, which continues to be offered with both manual and AMT gearboxes.

Design: The 2025 Renault Triber facelift introduces a significant visual overhaul. It will be the first Renault car in India to sport the company’s new 2D interlocked Diamond logo, reflecting clarity, connection, and continuity. Teasers and spy shots reveal a redesigned front fascia with a larger and more aggressive black grille featuring angular slats, integrated LED DRLs in the headlamp assembly, and a revised bumper design with black and grey inserts. At the rear, the updated Triber gains new blacked-out tail lamps with a distinctive LED signature and a reprofiled bumper. Expect subtle enhancements like redesigned wheel covers and improved lighting elements throughout.
 
Comfort and Convenience: While the platform and core dimensions remain unchanged, the cabin of the 2025 Triber is expected to receive material and layout improvements aimed at enhancing overall comfort. Anticipated additions include automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and auto headlamps - features not seen in its predecessor. The three-row seating configuration remains, with flexible second and third rows that can be adjusted or removed to optimize space. Renault is also expected to improve cabin insulation and seating ergonomics for better ride quality.
 
Powertrain: The updated Triber will likely retain the existing 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. However, Renault may introduce a more powerful 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine with 99 bhp, which would significantly enhance the MPV’S drivability, especially with a full load of passengers. This could finally give buyers a punchier option in the sub-4m 7-seater space, where performance has often taken a backseat.
 
Hardware: Under the skin, the Triber facelift is not expected to undergo major structural changes. The monocoque chassis setup remains, ensuring car-like ride quality. Front MacPherson struts and a rear torsion beam will likely be carried over, optimized for urban comfort. The compact MPV will offer 15-inch wheels with improved wheel cover design, and while no disc upgrades are expected, dual airbags and ABS with EBD remain standard. Renault may explore improved crash safety structure or offer additional airbags in higher variants to enhance safety credentials.
 
Features: The 2025 Triber facelift will likely bring several feature upgrades to maintain its value-for-money edge. These may include a larger touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, possibly wireless, as well as new connected car features. A digital or semi-digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, and updated HVAC interface could also be part of the package. The inclusion of tech like auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers would further align it with buyer expectations in this segment.
 
Market Availability and Alternatives: Renault will launch the 2025 Triber facelift on July 23, 2025, with prices expected to remain close to the current range of Rs. 6.10-Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Triber will continue to rival the base to mid-spec variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, while also acting as an affordable alternative to compact SUVs with limited third-row practicality. With the Kiger facelift and the reborn Duster also in the pipeline, the Triber facelift kickstarts a new era of crucial product offensive by Renault India.
