Aprilia Tuono 457

Last Updated On 19th Feb'25: The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has introduced its second budget offering for the Indian market, the Aprilia Tuono 457, priced at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tuono features a distinctive design language compared to other Tuono models, and this naked motorcycle shares the same engine and platform as the RS 457. Bookings for the Aprilia Tuono 457 are currently open, with deliveries set to begin in March.

Design: The Tuono 457 looks very different from the rest of the Tuono 457, featuring a completely new headlamp unit. However, the overall design is typically of a naked streetfighter with a muscular stance. 

Power And Performance: Powering the Tuono 457 is the same 457cc, liquid-cooled powertrain from the RS 457, producing 46.9bhp at 9400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6700rpm. 

Hardware: The Tuono 457 features the same frame and underpinnings as the RS 457. It makes use of preload-adjustable suspension on both ends; 41mm USD forks with 120mm of travel, along with a monoshock with 130mm of travel. As for the braking setup, it will get a 320mm disc with radially-mounted four-piston ByBre callipers, along with a 220mm rear disc.

Features: In terms of equipment, the Tuono 457 will carry over the same 5.3-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, and other features include three riding modes, ride-by-wire, traction control modes, a bi-directional quick shifter, and dual-channel ABS among other things.

Rivals: The Tuono 457 will go up against the Yamaha MT-03 and the KTM 390 Duke.
