2026 Aprilia RS 457: New Colours & Revised Pricing

For 2026, the Aprilia RS 457 is priced at Rs 4.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). This price applies across the standard variants, including the newly introduced Coral Blue Snake and Arsenic Yellow colour schemes, both of which were showcased at international and Indian motorcycle events earlier this year. These new shades join the existing colour palette, offering buyers more visual variety while retaining the RS 457's sharp supersport styling. The pricing revision helps the motorcycle remain competitive against rivals in the segment, particularly after the impact of updated taxation norms.

Aprilia has also introduced the RS 457 GP Replica, a special edition inspired by the brand's MotoGP race machines. Priced at Rs 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant sits Rs 15,000 above the standard RS 457. The GP Replica stands out with its black base colour, factory race-style sponsor graphics, and blacked-out frame and swingarm, giving it a more aggressive, track-focused appearance. Beyond cosmetic changes, this version comes better equipped, featuring a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, along with adjustable levers and revised brake pads. Buyers opting for the standard colour variants can still add the quickshifter as an optional accessory, though at a higher additional cost.
2026 Aprilia Tuono 457: Naked Performance, Lower Price
The Aprilia Tuono 457, which shares its platform and engine with the RS 457, has also received updated pricing. The naked sport motorcycle is now priced at Rs 3.97 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially launched at Rs 3.95 lakh, the Tuono 457 had seen its price rise following GST changes in late 2025. The latest revision brings it back to near-launch levels, making it just Rs 2,000 more expensive than its original price, despite the higher tax structure.

The Aprilia 457 series comes well-equipped for its segment, offering full LED lighting, 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, bluetooth connectivity, multiple riding modes, traction control, selectable engine maps, dual-channel ABS with anti-rollover function, and more These features help position both motorcycles as technologically competitive offerings in the premium lightweight category.

Engine & Mechanical Package Remain Unchanged
Both the RS 457 and Tuono 457 continue to be powered by the same 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This motor produces 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The powertrain is complemented by a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and refined gearing, offering a balance of performance and usability. While there are no mechanical changes for 2026, the engine remains one of the strongest selling points of the 457 platform, delivering engaging performance without becoming intimidating for newer riders.
Verdict
With the launch of the 2026 Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457, Aprilia has effectively reset pricing after recent tax-related disruptions while adding meaningful value through new variants and features. The revised prices, combined with fresh colour options and the race-inspired GP Replica edition, make the 457 range more appealing to both new buyers and enthusiasts upgrading from smaller displacement motorcycles.
