Updated Bajaj Pulsar 125: What's New?

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Available In Four Colours

Visually, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 now draws stronger inspiration from its larger siblings. The most noticeable update is the new LED headlamp, which replaces the older halogen unit and gives the bike a sharper, more contemporary face. LED turn indicators further enhance the premium appeal, especially for younger buyers stepping into the Pulsar range for the first time. Bajaj has also refreshed the colour palette and graphics to make the motorcycle look sportier. Buyers can choose from Black Grey, Black Racing Red, Black Cyan Blue, and Racing Red with Tan Beige. The overall silhouette of the Pulsar 125 remains unchanged, retaining the muscular tank shrouds and sporty stance that mirror the Pulsar 150. With a seat height of 755 mm, the bike remains approachable for riders of different heights, while the 144 kg kerb weight helps keep handling light and manageable in city conditions.

The hardware setup remains unchanged, with the Pulsar 125 continuing to use a front disc and rear drum brake combination. Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, tuned for comfort over rough urban roads. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, wrapped in a 90-section front tyre and a 100-section rear tyre.

Feature-wise, the Pulsar 125 retains its digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, offering call and SMS alerts. While it still misses out on turn-by-turn navigation, the inclusion of LED lighting, smartphone connectivity, and a USB charging port ensures it remains competitive in its segment.

Engine & Performance

Mechanically, Bajaj has chosen not to alter what already works well. The updated Pulsar 125 continues to be powered by the familiar 124.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor produces 11.8 PS of power and 10.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its strong low-end response, smooth power delivery and reliable performance, making it well-suited for stop-and-go city traffic as well as occasional highway runs. Its refinement and efficiency remain key reasons for the Pulsar 125's popularity.

The updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 is available in two variants. The single-seat version is priced at Rs 89,910, while the split-seat variant costs Rs 92,046 (both ex-showroom).

Verdict

By adding LED lighting, fresh colours and subtle design tweaks, Bajaj has given its entry-level Pulsar a timely refresh without compromising on the fundamentals that buyers value, which are reliability, efficiency and everyday comfort. For riders looking for sporty styling, proven performance, and long-term usability at a reasonable price point, the refreshed Pulsar 125 continues to be a sensible and well-rounded choice in the 125cc commuter motorcycle space.
