Hero Launches Glamour X With ABS At Rs 1.01 Lakh

Hero Glamour X 125 has been launched with Integrated-ABS at a price of Rs 1,01,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to get Single-Channel ABS paired with an Integrated Braking System. This saftey feature sharpens braking response and cuts stopping distance, and Hero says it marks a fresh benchmark for safety in this category.

Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer for Hero MotoCorp's India Business Unit, said the 125cc segment is moving fast, with buyers now expecting style, tech and safety together rather than as trade-offs. He pointed to Ride Modes and Cruise Control as features that already set the Glamour X apart, and said this ABS update takes that further.

Beyond the new braking hardware, the bike carries over its Panic Brake Alert, which flashes the indicators rapidly under hard braking to warn traffic behind, along with hazard lamps for emergencies.

Hero Glamour X 125 All Details

On looks, the Glamour X gets a more muscular, sculpted design, full LED lighting, and an 'H' signature graphic that gives it a fairly distinct identity on the road. The instrument console is a 4.2-inch, multi-colour unit with ambient lighting and packs in over 60 features, including gear-shift advisory, distance-to-empty, and real-time mileage readouts. Bluetooth connectivity adds turn-by-turn navigation with ETA, along with call and SMS alerts.

Engine and claimed mileage

Power comes from Hero's 124cc engine, which produces 12PS and 10.5Nm of torque, tuned for smooth delivery and low vibration. Hero claims a mileage figure of 65kmpl for the Glamour X. Riders also get three modes, Eco, Road and Power, along with cruise control for longer, less tiring rides.

Everyday usability hasn't been ignored either. The bike gets a wide handlebar, a long flat seat and a low seat height, along with dual under-seat storage and a C-type USB charging port.

Two new colours, Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey, join the existing Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue. The Glamour X 125 with ABS is priced at Rs 1,01,000, ex-showroom Delhi, and is now available at Hero dealerships across the country.
