Jawa 42 All Stars Edition Launched at Rs 1.85 Lakh

Jawa-Yezdi has rolled out the third bike in its All Stars Edition line-up, the Jawa 42 All Stars Edition, priced from Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). It joins the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber, which got the All Stars treatment earlier, rounding out the trio of models to receive this styling update so far. For the entry-level 42, this marks the biggest update the bike has seen since 2024, and unlike the previous refresh, this one goes beyond just cosmetic tweaks, bringing in a fair bit of hardware change as well.

Jawa 42 All Stars Edition: What's New Over the Standard 42

Beyond fresh colours and graphics, the 42 gets real hardware changes. The front and rear fenders have been redesigned, the side covers look different, and the exhaust now gets an upswept design similar to the 42 FJ. There's a new alloy wheel design too, and the tyres are noticeably chunkier, 100/90-18 at the front and 150/70-17 at the rear, up from 90/90 and 120/80 on the outgoing bike. That should give it a beefier stance and better grip.

Jawa has also managed to shave off some weight, down from 182-184 kg to 175 kg, while the seat height has gone up slightly, from 788 mm to 795 mm. The company says the seat itself has been reworked for added comfort. Suspension and brakes carry over unchanged, but dual-channel ABS is now standard across the range. The fuel tank stays at 13.2 litres.

Engine and Gearbox

No changes here. The 42 All Stars Edition keeps the same 295cc engine, putting out 26.8 bhp and 26.3 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
