Should I buy the Meteor 350?
If you are in the market for a cruiser that offers classic looks with modern functionality, the Meteor 350 is a great choice for you. It excels in offering comfort, style, and sufficient tech features like Tripper navigation and USB Type-C charging that most rivals lack. The pricing is competitive in its segment and the extended warranty gives added reassurance. However, if outright power or aggressive handling is your top priority, you can consider other bikes present in this segment like the Jawa Perak. But for relaxed highway rides, urban commuting and aspirational ownership, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is one of the most balanced and future-proof options available today.
- The 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine produces a modest but refined 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, which is ideal for cruising and smooth city riding rather than outright performance.
- The power delivery is linear, providing confidence for relaxed touring and easy overtakes in traffic without being overly aggressive or jerky.
- The 5-speed gearbox is well-matched to the engine’s character, offering good control and a balanced spread for urban and highway riding conditions.
- The assist and slipper clutch helps reduce rider effort and prevents rear-wheel lock-up under hard braking or downshifting, adding a layer of safety and comfort.
- It remains a reliable powertrain choice without mechanical changes, focusing on long-term usability rather than chasing high performance.
Summary
The engine is very powerful and the most important part is that it is eco friendly, that is it does not release any harmful products.
Meteor 350 engine specifications:
| Transmission | Manual |
| Mileage | 32.6-41.88 |
| Engine | 349.34 cc |
- The Meteor 350 retains its classic cruiser design, characterized by a laid-back riding posture, relaxed ergonomics and an overall style that appeals to both city riders and touring enthusiasts.
- Fireball is offered in vibrant Orange and Grey, giving it a bold and youthful appearance, while Stellar brings Matt Grey and Marine Blue to offer a more mature yet fresh look.
- Aurora introduces Retro Green and Red shades inspired by Royal Enfield’s heritage and Supernova is finished in sleek Black with modern chrome highlights for a premium feel.
- The inclusion of LED headlamps, Tripper navigation pod, and full-LED indicators elevates the bike’s modern appeal without compromising its retro cruiser identity.
- Adjustable brake and clutch levers in the top-end trims improve rider customization, enhancing comfort during longer rides and making the bike more ergonomic.
Meteor 350 body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 170 mm |

- The addition of a USB Type-C fast-charging port as standard ensures riders can conveniently charge their devices on the go without relying on aftermarket solutions.
- The Tripper navigation pod offers clear turn-by-turn directions, improving riding convenience and minimizing distractions, especially for long-distance trips.
- The newly added assist and slipper clutch enhances gear shifts by reducing clutch effort and preventing wheel hop during sudden downshifts, aiding both city and highway riding.
- Full-LED headlamps and indicators improve night-time visibility and add a contemporary touch to the cruiser’s overall design.
- Genuine Motorcycle Accessories kits like the Urban and Grand Tourer provide owners with more options to customize their Meteor for style or touring functionality.
- The Meteor 350 offers a relaxed and upright riding posture, making it extremely comfortable for long rides and daily city commutes.
- The telescopic front and 6-step adjustable pre-load suspension is tuned for comfort, with a predictable setup that soaks up urban bumps and highway undulations effectively, but isn’t designed for aggressive handling.
- Adjustable brake and clutch levers help customize the ergonomics for riders of different sizes, especially useful on long rides.
- The 100 section (F) and 140 section (R) tyres provide a decent balance between grip and comfort, providing adequate traction without making the ride harsh.
- Handling remains stable and composed at cruising speeds, though the bike isn’t intended for fast cornering or sharp maneuvers.
- The 2025 Meteor 350 continues to be equipped with 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes that provide sufficient stopping power for a cruiser of this size and weight.
- Dual-channel ABS ensures safer braking in emergency situations, offering confidence on wet roads or during sudden stops.
- The addition of a slipper clutch helps prevent wheel hop during abrupt downshifts, improving stability.
- Full-LED lighting now improves visibility at night and in poor weather, contributing to overall rider safety.
- The absence of advanced features like traction control keeps the safety package basic but sufficient for this segment.
