Engine

The Meteor 350 remains mechanically unchanged, continuing with its 349cc single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. As for the Honda, it's powered by a 348cc air-cooled engine delivering 21.07 PS and 30 Nm of torque, also mated to a 5-speed transmission.

We haven't tested the new Meteor 350 yet, but since Royal Enfield says it hasn't undergone any mechanical changes, its performance is expected to remain the same as before. That means it's likely to be slower in acceleration compared to other 350cc bikes, and its engine may still fall short of the refinement offered by the Honda CB350 - which remains the benchmark in this class. For riders seeking a more mature and polished experience, the Honda is sure to impress.
Features

The all-new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 now comes better equipped across the range, with an LED headlight and the Tripper navigation pod offered as standard on all trims. It also gets a USB Type-C charging port, assist and slipper clutch, and adjustable brake and clutch levers for added comfort. Beyond these updates, it continues to offer familiar features like dual-channel ABS, tubeless tyres, and more.

It also comes with an all-LED lighting setup, dual-channel ABS, a hazard switch, and an assist-and-slipper clutch.

Verdict
The Meteor 350 arrives with subtle updates and fresh colour options that give it a distinctive flair. These tweaks, combined with the revised pricing, may persuade some buyers to choose it. However, if you're after superior engine performance, the Honda CB350 remains the better choice - Honda engines truly are marvels. This bike, too, is expected to become more affordable after September 22, with prices likely starting at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom). So, between the two: if style is your priority, go for the Meteor 350; if you prefer a more mature and refined riding experience, the CB350 is the one to pick.
