All-New Bajaj Pulsar Launching August 12, Marking 25 Year

Bajaj Pulsar, the nameplate Indians first heard of in 2001, is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary by launching an all-new generation of the Pulsar on 12th August. Plus, considering the fact that the first one was powered by a 150cc engine, we assume Bajaj will bring back a 150cc bike. Moreover, as per sources, this is going to be an all-new product, developed from scratch, and a teaser has also been published.

As per sources, the all-new Bajaj Pulsar will not be anything like the current lineup, and it will come with a new set of features, a new chassis, and even a new engine. As the first-ever Pulsar was 150cc, we believe this particular capacity could return after 25 years. The N125, N160, and others get only minimal updates from time to time. Now, there isn't anything special or new to talk about, as just a teaser is out, in which the bike is covered by a cloth, and the lights are on, imitating its eyes. Upon zooming into that photo, the front disc brake and alloys are visible, and it feels like this could be a naked version, as no visor sits above the headlight.

Over the years, the Pulsar brand has attained legendary status, as it was India's first sportsbike, and an affordable one at that. Even now, this fact remains intact, as the Pulsar continues to be an easy-on-the-pocket option catering to a wide audience, from 125cc to 350cc. And the Pulsar NS400Z is the most affordable 350cc bike, with prices starting from Rs 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

End Note

As Bajaj gears up to mark 25 years of the Pulsar legacy, the brand seems set for its biggest overhaul yet. With JMD Rakesh Sharma confirming 10 "substantially new" motorcycles across the 125-160cc range starting August 2026, the all-new Pulsar 150 looks like just the beginning. Expect a steady stream of updates to the Pulsar family over the coming months, as Bajaj reworks one of India's most iconic nameplates for a new generation of riders. We'll bring you more details as they emerge closer to the 12th August launch.
