Priced at Rs. 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), this new variant sits above the Supernova trim and adds a factory-fitted touring package, updated aesthetics, and a premium equipment list. New Dual-Tone Sundowner Orange Paintwork & Visual Changes

The Sundowner Edition of the RE Meteor 350 stands out with a fresh dual-tone orange-and-cream finish, giving the cruiser a more vibrant and distinctive look compared to the standard palette. Royal Enfield has leaned into classic retro elements with generous chrome accents and a colour theme designed to evoke long sunset rides, an aesthetic the brand hasn't tapped into with past Meteor variants.

The model also debuts tubeless-compatible cross-spoke wheels, something not offered on any other Meteor trim. These allow riders to retain the traditional spoke-rim look while enjoying the convenience of tubeless tyres, a notable improvement for touring and highway use.

Factory-Fitted Touring Kit Now Standard

Unlike other variants where accessories must be added separately, the Sundowner Edition comes equipped out of the box with features tailored for long-distance travel. The package includes a tall windscreen to reduce wind buffeting at higher speeds, a more supportive Deluxe Touring Seat, a pillion backrest, adjustable levers, LED lighting, and Royal Enfield's Tripper navigation pod for turn-by-turn guidance. A USB Type-C charging port comes standard as well, making the bike more practical for riders who rely on smartphones for navigation.

Royal Enfield has retained the proven 349cc, single-cylinder J-series engine producing 20.2 hp and 27 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch. The chassis and suspension setup continues unchanged, using a dual-cradle frame, telescopic front forks, and twin rear shocks. The core riding triangle remains relaxed and upright, reinforcing the Meteor's identity as a highway-friendly cruiser rather than a performance-focused machine.

With the Sundowner Edition now sitting at the top of the Meteor range, the lineup spans from Rs. 1.95 lakh to Rs. 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the trim, positioned as a more complete touring package rather than just a cosmetic edition.
