The SUV comes with a range of engine options including petrol, diesel, and turbo-petrol variants.

It offers comfortable seating and a spacious cabin with practical storage solutions

The XUV300 delivers excellent handling and responsive steering for enhanced maneuverability

What could have been better

It has one of the smallest boot spaces in its segment

The fancier features are mostly found in the highest-spec models

The turbo-petrol versions cost more and only come with a manual transmission

Inside, the SUV has lots of features, but the design might seem a bit old-fashioned

The petrol and turbo-petrol engines aren't as fuel-efficient as some other cars in the class

It doesn't have rear AC vents, unlike some of its rivals

The rear legroom is not as great as some of its rivals

Should I buy the XUV 300?

The Mahindra XUV300 stands out for its spaciousness and excellent handling, but compared to its rivals, it appears slightly outdated. Its design and features are somewhat lacking when compared to competing models. If you prioritize superior handling and refined engine performance in an SUV, the XUV300 remains a solid choice. However, if you lean towards a more contemporary and stylish design, alternatives like the Tata Nexon or KIA Sonet might better suit your preferences.
