- MMansi Arora4 Year agoThis is my second car after the Chevrolet Beat. We had a look at a lot of other cars but I went for this due to the unconventional design and the ease of driving parameter. Its been two years and as my clinic is nearby, I have only done about 9500km till now. Love the cabin layout, peppy engine and frugal nature. However, the AMT can be jerky in traffic once the engine and gearbox heat up. Likewise, in start stop traffic, fuel economy can go down to as low as 9-10 kmpl. Service experience has been bad - they soiled the manual one, on one occasion the problems weren't rectified, on another the promised discount on labour charges wasn't given. But each time I drive my red Ignis, the smile comes back on my faceRead moreLikes (2)
- AKAman Khanna4 Year agoI drive a 2020 model Ignis BS4 top model AMT. The high discounts in Feb 2020 were the determining factor as I wanted a small car but with features and safety for my driving inside Delhi roads. As of July 2020 I have done only 3200km due to pandemic but now have joined office back. The AMT is easy for traffic but some jerks remain which I understand I have to live with. This is the same engine I am told that also comes with Dzire and Swift and is easy on the pocket. I have not calculated the economy but it seems to be good. The rear seats are good for my parents and they feel comfortable with the height. However, slow speed ride is not very cosy and some jerks come inside. Otherwise, the Ignis is a good buy and the top model has features like push button start and a very comprehensive touch screen system. One thing that I find odd are the thin tyres that do not look good with the overall body design. I am planning to change them to wider tyres and I hope this improves the stance and the high speed manners which are not very reassuring as of now. Thank you and I hope my feedback helps other people who want to buy the IgnisRead moreLikes (4)
