The Toyota bZ4X is an electric SUV with a sharp and bold design. It is the brand’s first fully electric car built on the e-TNGA platform. The bZ4X is marketed under Toyota’s sub-brand, bZ (Beyond Zero). This all-electric SUV boasts a sharp design, a modern interior, and high-end features. In the international market, the bZ4X comes with multiple drivetrain options. Toyota is planning to bring its Urban Cruiser EV to the Indian market first and later on we can expect the bZ4X to be launched in the Indian market.

Last Updated On 27th Jan'25: Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has showcased a plethora of vehicles at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. In addition to its current lineup, the brand has also showcased its international models, including the bZ4X BEV. The bZ4X is the brand’s first electric vehicle in the international market.

Design: The Toyota bZ4X gets a sharp design with a closed-off grille, sleek LED headlamps with DRL, blacked-off bumper, and skid plates with air vents. The side profile gets 18 to 20-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels with sculpted black wheel arches. At the rear, it gets a floating rear design with integrated spoiler, sharp LED lights. The charging port of the SUV is fitted on the front left fender of the vehicle.

Features: The interior of the SUV features 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, panoramic glass roof, digital instrument console, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, among other features.

Powertrain: In the international market the bZ4X comes with two powertrain options a 71.4 kWh and a 72.8 kWh battery pack. The former come with a FWD drivetrain and the latter comes with an AWD drivetrain. Moreover, the EV offers up to 500 km of range and produces up to 215 bhp of power and 337 Nm of torque. For charging, it can support up to 150kW DC charging that enables 0-80% charging in 30 minutes.

Reduce price as much as possible to sell in Indian cities,it's still new technology ,waiting for price announcements and deliveries planned before taking a buying decision. Thank you very much all.

If the Toyota bZ4X is priced around ?30 lakhs, it should offer strong competition to electric vehicles from Mahindra and Tata. To truly stand out, it must come equipped with features that at least match or surpass those offered by these brands. A minimum driving range of 450–600 km is essential to make it a compelling choice in the Indian EV market.

I am using Innova Crysta, again I am looking for the UV with electric vehicle. Present I am very comfortable with Innova crystal, Zero maintenance, it’s my personal opinion. Good vehicle for family.
