The VF3 is an interesting micro SUV that will most likely serve as a more rugged-looking rival to the MG Comet. It comes with a rear-wheel drive electric motor setup, and with VinFast officially having entered the Indian market, it won’t be too long before prices for the VF3 are announced.

Latest Update on 24th Jan'25 : The Vinfast VF3 was on display at the 2025 Auto Expo, and with its compact dimensions it is likely to be an alternative to the MG Comet. It also packs a similar RWD setup and also gets a small seating area at the rear.
Design : The Vinfast VF3 comes with compact dimensions but bearing an SUV design, giving buyers a more rugged-looking alternative over the MG Comet.
Battery And Range : The VF3 comes with a 18.94kWh battery pack, which can be charged from 10-70% in a claimed time of 36 minutes, and gets a claimed range of 215km on a single charge.
Performance : The VF3 gets a single electric motor powering the rear wheels, putting out a claimed 39.4bhp and 110Nm of torque, VinFast says the VF3 can cover a 0-50kmph run in 5.3 seconds.
Interiors and Features : Not much is known about the features list at the moment, but the VF3 comes with a 10-inch infotainment screen and manual A/C controls. The car maker also says the VF3 can carry upto 50kg of luggage on its roof.
Rivals : The VF3 will most likely go up directly against the MG Comet.

If provision made for luggage will be good. Otherwise 2 nd row seat should be splitted type. So if one person sit on the seat other one can fold for carrying luggage.

Price must be between 4 to 6 lakh. Look and mileage matter. Features may be compromised. I would recommend to price a variant around 4 lakh with low Features and some variant with all Features in other variants.

It should be under 4 to 5 laks to sustain middle class market. Charging time should be less like 2 hours fully charge. Charging station infra should be good . Specifically for flat owner
