VinFast

VF 3

This cute-looking electric SUV made its debut in India at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025 and quickly captured the hearts of netizens. However, it did not see the light of day as VinFast entered the market with more practical offerings such as the VF 6 and VF 7. This vehicle is not for everyone, but for those who want to stand apart and enjoy attention. Its design is so radical that one cannot help but glance at it.

The VF 3 will get an 18.64 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 210 km on a single charge. It comes with a 32 kW motor that delivers 110 Nm of peak torque. The EV can sprint from 050 km/h in 5.3 seconds and will feature a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) drivetrain. Moreover, it will support fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes.

Talking about its price, we believe that it would start around Rs 9 to 10 lakh, considering its offical price in Vietnam country, and also it not being a everyday but a life-style vehicle.

VF5

The VF 5 is the second car on our list, and based on the OEM images and its specifications, it appears to be a direct rival to the Tata Nexon EV. This means another sub-4-metre electric vehicle with a real-world range of over 260 km could enter India this year.

In terms of design, it looks like a scaled-down version of the VF 6, and it is difficult to clearly classify it as either a compact SUV or strictly a hatchback. The OEM states that it has an unladen ground clearance of 161.5 mm, which would reduce further when loaded, indicating that it is more likely a hatchback. However, we can expect the suspension setup to be raised for the Indian market. As for the details, it gets a 29.6 kWh battery pack producing 94 hp and 135 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 268 km.

Limo Green MPV

Vinfast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied In India - Details

VinFast has confirmed that its all-electric Limo Green MPV will be launched in India in February 2026, making it the brand's third offering for the market after the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs. With this move, VinFast aims to tap into the growing demand for practical electric people-movers, positioning the Limo Green as a family-focused and fleet-friendly product.

The electric MPV is expected to come with a large battery pack offering a claimed range of around 450 km, along with a front-mounted electric motor delivering strong performance for its segment. Designed as a proper three-row MPV, the Limo Green will prioritise space, comfort, and practicality, aligning well with Indian buyer preferences.

Interestingly, the Limo Green will also play a key role in VinFast's broader mobility plans, as it is set to be used for the brands upcoming electric taxi operations in India. This dual approach - targeting private buyers as well as commercial use - could help VinFast establish volumes and visibility in the Indian EV space quickly.

Verdict

Based on our understanding, VinFasts plan to launch three electric cars in India in 2026 appears to be a well-thought-out strategy to quickly build presence across multiple segments. By covering everything from a lifestyle-oriented micro EV to a mass-market compact EV and a practical MPV, the brand is clearly aiming for wide appeal.

What looks promising is the projected range, product diversity, and the mix of private and fleet-focused offerings. However, pricing, localisation, and aftersales support will be critical in determining whether this ambitious entry can translate into long-term success in the Indian EV market.
