City Front Looks

The new Honda City Facelift 2026, at first glance, looks very impressive with its fascia having a proper sedan-like feel, featuring visible headlamps and connected DRLs, unlike the Verna which gets a straight tube-like DRL setup. The face looks very complete, and the cuts and edges throughout the front make the car look more aggressive and sportier than before, yet the City does not lose its charm as a CEOs car.

The new Honda City Facelift comes with a 3D logo placed over the front grille, and the sloping design of the sedan now makes it more aerodynamic-friendly. Honda has also changed the grille design of the City; it now gets a honeycomb pattern. The grille is more open, allowing air to cool the engine more efficiently.

The headlamps feature a projector setup with no fog lamps. Honda says they have worked on the headlamps in such a way that the sedan no longer needs fog lamps. The space for fog lamps has now been replaced by air dams. Overall, the new City has become more attractive in terms of front design.

Side Of the Honda City

Honda has not changed the sides of the City much. The overall silhouette of the sedan remains mostly the same. However, the key change clearly visible on the side profile is the new 16-inch alloy wheel design. The City 2026 now gets blacked-out alloy wheels, which make the car look more premium and stand out better.

Honda has also achieved a new milestone with the City becoming the longest sedan in the segment. The length of the City has been increased by 11 mm, making it 4594 mm long. However, the wheelbase of the sedan remains unchanged.

Rear Profile

The new Honda City Facelift 2026 has become sportier from the rear as well. The major upgrades include a new lip spoiler as standard, blacked-out smoked taillamps, and a fake diffuser-style rear bumper.

Interior & Colour

The Honda City now gets a dual-tone black and beige interior along with a floating 10.1-inch infotainment screen. Some other notable features added are ventilated front seats and Type-C charging ports for both front and rear passengers.

Another highlight of the City is its new colour scheme. Honda has introduced six colour options for the City, including Black as a special colour option, for which buyers will have to pay an additional Rs. 8,000.

Verdict

Honda has not changed the core identity of the City, yet it has successfully made the sedan more appealing and relevant in a market heavily dominated by SUVs and strong rivals like the Verna, Slavia, and Virtus. With the updated styling, added features, and sportier design elements, Honda has transformed the City into a more premium, stylish, and attention-grabbing sedan for modern buyers.
