Design and Exterior

The Honda ZR-V carries a clean yet sporty design that immediately sets it apart from Honda's current SUV lineup in India. At the front, it features a slim LED headlamp setup paired with a large gloss-black grille, giving the SUV a sharper appearance. The profile remains uncluttered with subtle character lines and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the rear gets sleek LED taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler and twin exhaust finishers. Overall, the ZR-V looks more mature and premium than the Elevate, with proportions that lean closer to global premium SUVs than mainstream midsize offerings.
Engine and e:HEV technology
Powering the Honda ZR-V is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with Honda's e:HEV strong-hybrid technology. The setup develops a combined output of 184PS and 315Nm of torque that enables the SUV to sprint from 0-100kmph in just 7.8 seconds. The engine is paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission, and the hybrid setup seamlessly alternates between EV, Hybrid and Engine Drive modes based on driving condition.
Moreover, Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 22.8kmpl, making the ZR-V one of the more efficient offerings in its class. The battery pack is self-charging through regenerative braking, eliminating the need for external charging while delivering the benefits of electrified driving.
