Tata Tiago (ICE)

This is going to be the second generation of Tata Tiago, and it doesn't look drastically different than the current one, featuring a new simpler looking face with straight lines for the piano-black grille. The LED headlights also features a more simpler design. Although, bonnet shape features a big plasticlly grille, that also integerates LED fog-lamps. Talking about rear profile, the connected light setup enters the Tiago, but in the teaser, they aren't glowing, so it could be the reflector.

The teaser focuses on the exterior only, with giving a quick glimpse - featuring dual-tone alloys that we think are of 16-inch. Also, the roof-is blacked out, which elevates its cool-factor. Lastly, the colour on the car is all-new, shade of light orange or in videos it looks like baby pink.
Moving on to the engine details, it is most likely to feature the same 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Its CNG setup is also expected to be mated to the same engine, where it produces 73.4 PS and 95 Nm, with the same transmission options.
Tata Tiago EV

This iteration features a single-tone exterior colour scheme, with the same theme carried throughout and no changes made to the grille section either. Only the ORVMs appear to be finished in black, while the rear bumper remains standard. On the sides, it features Tata.ev badging. Interior design is yet to be disclosed. Battery specifications could change as it is a new generation of the car, but the current setup could continue - 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh.

| Battery Pack | 19.2 kWh (Medium Range) | 24 kWh (Long Range) |
| Claimed Range (MIDC Part 1 + Part 2) | 223 km | 293 km |
| No. of electric motor (s) | 1 | 1 |

Verdict
Overall, the updated Tata Motors Tiago appears to be a subtle yet important refresh aimed at keeping the hatchback relevant in an increasingly competitive market. While the design changes are not radical, the updated styling and feature additions should help enhance its appeal among buyers. Tata retaining the proven petrol and CNG powertrains also ensures familiarity and reliability for existing customers. With both ICE and EV versions getting attention together, the Tiago lineup is set to become more modern and better equipped for 2026.
