Ultraviolette has launched a new all-rounder electric motorcycle called the X47 Crossover, at a starting price of Rs 2.74 lakh (ex-showroom). This unique e-two-wheeler comes loaded with safety features, delivers thunderous power, and is designed to conquer all types of terrain - making it a perfect fit for Indian roads. While it has no direct rival, the closest electric bike that comes near is the Ola Roadster Pro. So, here's a quick comparison putting these two against each other.

Price
X47 Crossover - The introductory launch price is Rs 2.74 lakh (ex-showroom). However, for the first 1,000 bookings, Ultraviolette is offering a special price of Rs 2.49 lakh. The bike comes with two battery pack options - 7.1 kWh and 10.3 kWh, though the price difference between the two has not yet been revealed.

Additionally, there's another variant of the X47 called the Desert Wing. This top-of-the-line trim is equipped with touring-focused features and comes in a special colour. The pre-booking amount for the Desert Wing is Rs 5,000, while for the standard model it is Rs 1,000.

Ola Roadster Pro - The electric motorcycle starts at Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) with an 8 kWh battery pack, while the larger 16 kWh battery pack version is priced at Rs 2.50 lakh. The booking amount for both versions is the same, set at Rs 1,000.
Range and Performance

The X47 Crossover with a 7.1 kWh pack has an IDC range of 211 km, while the 10.3 kWh pack offers 323 km. Since the detailed specifications of the 7.1 kWh variant are not yet available, well focus on the larger 10.3 kWh battery pack.

Features

The newest e-two-wheeler here is packed with world's first 2W with radar intelligence and throught the help of two-cameras placed at both ends, provide car like ADAS features. There are 4 core saftey features, and these are -

The tourers will love the dashcam - a Sony camera which captures at 1080P / 30FPS and at 120* wide angle. So, get ready to record those epic view in the most high-defination way and at a best angle. To add more, there are 2 screens for the rider, one to showcase the camera views for saftey purpose, and other is 2.5 inch touchscreen display, with anti theft mounting and an aerospace grade aluminium enclosure. The Ola Roadster X also comes equipped with ADAS, a sensor-based safety suite that includes features like collision warning. It further offers in-house ABS, cornering ABS, three ride modes (Rain, Race, and Urban), as well as wheelie and stoppie control. To unleash its full performance, riders can switch to Race mode, while all essential information is displayed on a premium infotainment rider's display. Lastly, as visible, the Pro comes with dual-disc brakes, and the front panel has an LED setup.

These two are high-performance electric motorcycles loaded with premium, car-like features. On the safety front, Ultraviolette has hit it out of the park by offering a radar-based system with multiple advanced features. If coolness is what you seek in a motorcycle, the X47 delivers it in abundance.
